Last Saturday Daniel did the first micro-teaching of this semester, with about six people we learned phrasal verbs ( utility, where can we use it and translation ).
Phrasal verbs could be difficul but are important at time to learn grammar and written skills

Activity
1. To help you learn phrasal verbs, you should write a definition and some examples sentences.
For each of the phrasal verbs from exercise 1 from Vocabulary Activities, copy the definition and write two examples sentences.   

• Look after : If you look after something or someone you do what is necessary to keep them healthy, safe, or in a good condition.

I love looking after the children

The farm manager looks after the daily business 

• Come across: Find or meet something or someone by chance 

I came across a photo of my grandparents

She came across this little cat

• Bring up : Bring up a child means look after it until it is an adult.

He was brought up in Nebraska.

She brought up four children on her own.

• Grow up : Someone who grows up gradually changes from being a child into being an adult.

They grew up in Tokio

My sister has grown up since she was 15

• Look up to : Respect and admire someone older than you

A lot of the yourger girls look up to you

When I talked with him I realized how he looks up to my Dad

•  Pick up : When you learn something in an easy way / Lift up from the floor
